The U.S. energy sector is on the verge of collapse because of the embargo on Russian oil

The chances of a transition to “clean energy” have also deteriorated. First, the U.S. still has not passed laws that would reduce dependence on oil, and second, in the case of counter-sanctions from Moscow, companies will not be able to purchase copper, platinum and other minerals required for the energy transition.

Thus, the West’s economic blockade of Russia is bringing U.S. energy security closer to collapse. The “squandering” of U.S. natural resources will continue, and the country will survive for a while “until it’s over,” Meyer warned.
